For those of you who have been following my work, I’m sure you were dying to see my quilt “The Royal Huntress” all finished! Instead of writing all about it, I made this video to share with you all. This will give you a glimpse into the process, conception, embellishment and completion of this quilt!

Karlee The Royal Huntress is absolutely exquisite!!!! I did not see any other entries in the show but I cant imagine how you did not get “Best in Show”….from designing the fabric to hot gluing those thousands of. crystals – it is truly a masterpiece. Nevermind those judges, you should be extremely proud of your work of art. I look forward to seeing your next pice of magic!
Thank you so much. I really am so proud of it. It took so much out of me, it will probably be just a little bit before I do another competition quilt that insane. But I learned so much, it really helped me grow so much as an artist.

Such creativity is mind boggling to me (a strictly squares and rectangles piecer). Congratulations on your masterpiece project. Even after watching the video, I am overwhelmed thinking about the process of design and implementation.
