I have been pondering quite a bit this month
about how I wanted to incorporate this month’s theme
into the quilt design.
(Hence the first blog post for the month being on the 28th.)
First things first.
Here are the colors that I chose for this month’s quilt
Although I don’t think I will actually end up using all 3.
And here is the design:
I really really like this design.
Appreciation is the recognition of quality, value, or significance.
Some people appreciate things.
Some appreciate places.
There are so many good things and places.
But what I really want to focus on this month is the appreciation
of people.
I think it is safe to say that everyone has at least one person that they appreciate in their lives.
I have too many to count on all 10 fingers and toes.
You know who you are.
I have just felt so much gratitude this month for the blessings I have been given.
Especially in the form of people.
So, my message this month
is a short one.
Take time to tell your family you love them.
Kiss your lover more than usual!
Give a genuine smile to the person who bags your groceries.
Say hello to your neighbors, ask if you can serve them.
SNUGGLE YOUR FURRY FRIEND!
If you love someone, tell them.
If you appreciate them, let them know.
I have a special someone who makes me happy when skies are grey.
I am going to go let him know.
