Another in my Sentimental Snuggles series, this one was much more emotionally draining to create. A very close friend of mine that I go to church with asked to commission this piece as a Christmas gift for her husband. They had suffered the loss of their babies 4 times. So this quilt was to remember and commemorate those sweet souls. Obviously, this quilt is much more private and solemn. So I don’t want to go into much more detail out of respect for their family. But I will say that I was honored to be able to share a tiny morsel in this experience and provide a tangible gift that would bring them some semblance of comfort until they are able to embrace their little loves once more.
I am thankful to know that families can be together forever through Heavenly Father’s plan.
