Take Flight Butterfly Collection

$50.00

This design can be stitched out all in one color, or in multiple different colors. You can stitch the entire design collection as large as your machine’s throat space will allow for the main butterfly to stitch out. (The butterfly centerpiece is the tallest piece in the collection.

This package includes the following quilting filetypes: BQM, CQP, DXF, HQF, IQP, PAT, PLT, QLI, SSD, TXT, and WMF.

This package also contains the following Embroidery formats in a 5 inch and a 10 inch design: DST, EXP, HUS, JEF, PCS, PES, SEW, SHV, VIP, VP3, and XXX

Please also reference the additional images in this listing to see how the design actually stitches out. As seen in the image, you can quilt this using 4 different colors of thread, or keep it all one color. There is jump between each color, to allow you to change your thread, if you desire. Just make sure your machine is set to pause between jump stitches.

Recommended Quilting Instructions: Stitch the entire composition at about 12″ or larger, and at a VERY slow speed, as well as a short stitch length (14 stitches per inch or more).
This quilt includes all quilting files both combined as one whole cloth, as well as each section saved separately, in case your machine does not allow you to open the entire composition all at once. The quilting files come in 5 different sizes: 12×17, 16×22, 22×30, 28×38, and 32×44. When you unzip each of these folders, the center butterfly file will have the height of that in parenthesis. As long as your machine can accommodate the heigh of the butterfly in your selected overall size, you’ll be able to easily stitch out all the accompanying frame pieces with plenty of space.

When stitching out this design, I would recommend starting with the top piece. Advance your quilt and then stitch the butterfly, then the side pieces. Advance your quilt more, and then stitch the bottom piece. Or, you can obviously stitch the entire composition within your throat space without advancing your fabric, as long as your throat is more than about 12″ in depth. Anything smaller than that could cause trouble, so stitch it at your own risk. It’s your life, do what you want! I mean, the worst that can happen is that you have some crazy densely quilted fabric (which honestly would still be kinda cool) or you might shred your thread or break a needle. Life goes on! Have fun with it!

Embroidery Disclaimer: At this time, because embroidery machine systems differ so significantly, embroidery formats are only tested digitally, not actually stitched out. Purchase at your own risk. The machine embroidery files come in 3 different sizes: 8×11, 11×16, and 14×20. The butterfly, top piece and bottom piece are also saved as separate files to allow you to stitch the entire composition much larger than your machine embroidery hoop size. You CAN use this collection if your hoop is 5×7 inches or larger.

Quilting formats ARE tested in actual fabric form and are guaranteed or your money back.
